This Privacy Policy describes how VolleyMoments (“the App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles your information. VolleyMoments is a personal volleyball journey app that helps players document tryouts, programs, scenes, and recruiting portfolios. We have designed the App with a privacy-first approach: all of your data stays on your device.
If you delete the App, all of your data is permanently removed from your device.
We do not collect or have access to:
The App does not communicate with any backend server operated by us or any third party. It functions entirely offline once installed.
You may choose to enter the following information into the App. This information is stored only on your device using your device’s local storage:
This information never leaves your device. We have no ability to access, view, recover, or back up this data.
When you tap a button to add a photo or video, the App requests permission to access your device’s photo library through the standard iOS permission prompt. This permission is used only to let you choose media to attach to your entries.
When you select a photo or video:
You can revoke photo library access at any time in Settings → Privacy & Security → Photos → VolleyMoments on your device.
Your data is stored locally on your device in two places:
This storage is included in your device’s standard iCloud Backup if you have backup enabled. iCloud Backup is managed by Apple under their privacy policy; we have no access to your backups.
We do not share, sell, rent, trade, or disclose your information to any third party — because we do not collect it. The only way information you create in the App is shared with anyone is if you explicitly choose to share it from your device (for example, by using your device’s share sheet to send a photo to another person or app).
Because all data is stored locally on your device, you are in full control of your data:
We have no servers and therefore no copies of your data to delete on our end.
VolleyMoments is suitable for all ages and rated 4+ in the App Store. The App does not collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. The App complies with the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by virtue of collecting no personal information at all. If you are a parent or guardian and have any concerns, please contact us.
Various U.S. state laws (including the California Consumer Privacy Act / CPRA, the Virginia CDPA, and similar laws in Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, and other states) give residents certain rights regarding their personal information, such as the right to know, access, delete, correct, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information.
Because we do not collect, store, sell, or share any personal information, there is no personal information we hold about you to access, correct, delete, or opt out of. You can exercise full control over the data you create in the App at any time directly on your device, as described in Section 7.
VolleyMoments is offered globally through the Apple App Store. If you are using the App from outside the United States, please note that the App still operates entirely on your device — no data is transmitted to or processed in any country. The same protections described in this policy apply regardless of where you are located.
We rely on the security protections built into iOS, including app sandboxing and the file system protections provided by Apple. No method of electronic storage is 100% secure, but because no data is transmitted off your device, the typical risks associated with cloud storage and data transmission do not apply.
The App is built using Apple’s iOS platform and standard open-source libraries (including the Expo framework). These libraries operate locally within the App and do not transmit your data to us or any third party. The App does not integrate any advertising networks, analytics services, or social media SDKs.
The App is distributed through the Apple App Store, which has its own privacy policy governing how Apple handles your App Store account information. Please refer to Apple’s Privacy Policy at https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/ for details.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App or for legal reasons. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this policy and, where appropriate, notify users through an update notice in the App. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
